    Position Summary:
    The Speech Language Pathologist work to prevent, assess, diagnose and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders in students.

    Department: Special Education Department of High School Campus as assigned
    Reports to: Director of Special Education

    Training and Experience:
    • Master’s Degree in Speech Pathology or Communication Disorders.

    Licensing/Certification Requirements:
    • A Certificate of Clinical Competence or a passing score on the national exam or a passing score on the AEPA Speech-Language Impaired portion of the Special Education exam.
    • Valid DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card
    • Must have completed a clinical (minimum of 250 clock hours) supervised by a University or by a speech-language pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competenece.
