Job Description

Quality Assurance Incoming Inspector.

Perform inspection procedures on incoming products, work in-process, and finished goods to ensure that they meet applicable standards including IPC and company-specific specifications.

Use various measurement and inspection equipment including calipers, micrometers, visual imaging systems, etc. End-to-end inspection activity to include: incoming product document review, First Article Inspection of new or revised product, inspection activity, inspection results documentation, identification and isolation of non-conforming materials found during inspection.

Additionally, QA - Inspector will coordinate with purchasing personnel to obtain supplier RMA for MRB dispositioned product.  Assist Quality Engineering with developing new inspection and testing methods.  Assist Quality team with internal audits as needed.  Manage workload to ensure that internal and external customer expectations are met. Assist with other training and audit functions as required.

1-2 years previous electronics inspector experience required.

Requires general knowledge of quality systems, quality processes and understanding of quality tools.  Working knowledge of IPC and J-Standard required.

Must be able to read blueprints and perform shop math calculations.

If requested, must be able to attain IPC 610 (CIS) certification within 6 months of employment.

Basic computer skills including use of Microsoft Word and Excel and company computer systems required.

Working knowledge of ESD programs, SPC, and ISO 9001:2015 preferred.

Reports to the QA Inspection Supervisor.

Shift: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am to 4:30 pm
