Senior Research Engineer

Senior Research Engineer at Raven Applied Technologies, LLC in Scottsdale, AZ will be responsible for dvlpg software algorithms for automating farm eqpmt in order to improve the operating efficiency in the field. Reqs a Master's deg in Robotics System Development, Robotics, or a directly related field plus 2 yrs of exp as a Software Engineer or any related occupation dsgng iterative hardware & software subsystems. The 2 yrs of exp must include 6 mos of exp with each of the following: autonomous system operating in an off-road setting; C++, Python, & Rust in a Linux envrmt; product dvlpmt exp with embedded Linux & real time distributed systems; research exp in dvlpg & deploying learning models; product dvlpmt exp for perception, state estimation & prediction in the scope situation awareness; DevOps exp for continuous integration & deployment; dvlpg & deploying micro-services; dvlpg optimized software for robotic systems; & coordinating safety field tests.
