The Site/ Lab Instructor
The Site Instructor is responsible for planning, organizing and implementing appropriate instructional programs in a physical setting; leveraging an online learning environment that guides and encourages students to develop and reach their academic, social, and personal potential and achieve their educational goals. Implements and manages Orientation process for all students: Grade/review/analyze student academic information prepare for PLP planning, Determine seating location, Conduct a thorough Orientation, Conduct new student training, Introduce Personal and Career Exploration, Build positive rapport with new students. Implement and manage Personalized Learning Plan (PLP) process for all students: Create Graduation Plan, Evaluate academic benchmarks, Conduct Weekly Student Conference, Schedule a parent/teacher conference, Document all WSC information. Implement and manage Attendance process for all students: Ensure that all students personally sign-in, record attendance in SIS, Implement and manage attendance referral process. Implement and manage Instructional Support process for all students, based on needs established in the Personalized Learning Plan Process: creation and delivery of group lesson plan, Identification of individual academic support. Implement and manage student behavior and discipline in accordance with MGRM Pinnacle policies and procedures, and in conjunction with directives and initiatives specific to the school as determined by site leadership. Other duties and responsibilities consistent with the role of a teacher, as assigned by the school leadership.
Candidate must be highly qualified and hold a valid Arizona State Teaching Certificate. Previous or current classroom teaching experience (or equivalent). Demonstrate excellent written and communication skills.
Proficient in using email, managing files, recording and reporting grades electronically, and using computer applications including word processors, spreadsheets, Internet browsers, and web search engines.
Candidate must have or must be able to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card.
Bachelor’s Degree in Education with qualifying teaching experience in either traditional or online settings OR 24 credit hours in a specific academic area (ex: Math); 1 year to take NES Test while on a Substitute Certificate
