SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES: (narrative)
Performs efficient installation and assembly of office furniture within the clients' facilities, including: systems furniture, case
goods, accessories, and wall-hung systems. Responsible for timely completion of assigned tasks with a high level of
quality and workmanship, and performs these duties with a high degree of customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
*1. Proficient with installation procedures and sequence: Loading, unloading, staging, trash removal, panel assembly,
lock installation, electrical components, cleanup, and detailing. Can make most mechanical adjustments (drawers,
slides, lock mechanisms, leveling). Correctly and efficiently assembles and adjusts product detail panels,
components, electrical, case goods, tables, filing, and seating.
*2. Capable of reacting to varying project field conditions and able to make decisions to solve problems and changes
in scope of work.
*3. Highly responsive to customer requests.
*4. Can read and interpret plans, blueprints and evaluations. Understands architectural and furniture symbols. Can
analyze assignments for correct tools, supplies, and equipment required for the task(s).
*5. Can pre-plan small assignments, including field measurements and site reviews.
*6. Can resolve punch issues and close-out a work order using proper procedure and forms.
*7. Communicates task status and problems to Field Supervisors/Foremen and Dispatcher in a timely and clear
manner.
*8. Paperwork is neat, clear, understandable, complete, and done in a timely manner. Understands and follows
through with consistent and accurate paperwork - Detailed daily activity logs, vacation requests, and any on-site
documentation that might be required by a Foremen or Field Supervisor.
*9. Proficient at safely driving a bob-tail or mini-bob truck.
*10. Responsible for other's property, including client's building and possessions, equipment, and furniture. Is
responsible for Goodmans' tools, equipment, vehicles, and property.
*11. Able to work irregular hours and extended hours if necessary
*12. Uses tools and equipment safely and correctly.

Required Skills

• Furniture installation experience, including all aspects of process:
From unloading/staging to assembly of systems and case goods furniture, to clean-up and detailing.
• Furniture product knowledge, including product application, assembly, specification, repair/maintenance, receipt, and
inspection.
• A valid driver's license and transportation to job sites; can drive a bob-tail truck or small cube van, and do safely.
• Interpersonal and communication skills and professional demeanor to communicate effectively with clients and crew,
occasionally under trying circumstances.
