Located on a beautiful 10-acre campus in the heart of Scottsdale, Devereux Arizona’s 24-hour RTC and Therapeutic School, has the capacity to serve 48 children. The RTC is a safe and supportive environment that provides youth, from the ages of five to 17, who are experiencing emotional, behavioral or substance abuse challenges. We also provide an on-site accredited K-12 therapeutic school, which offers an academic curriculum while students receive intensive behavioral and emotional support.
As a Nurse Manager you will provide quality care and practices within a highly acute, fast paced behavioral health residential treatment care setting. Manages, leads, inspires and motivates others to provide exception care to our clients. Will lead the day to day operations of the Health Services department including budgeting, staffing, planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating best nursing practices and exudes a Servant Leadership mindset. Responsible for ensuring a high standard of quality medical care is provided by the nursing staff. Has a sound understanding of C/A substance use, trauma, and mental health issues. Serves as a liaison for all of Devereux Arizona Treatment Network regarding medical matters. Serves as the Infection Control Nurse for all of Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health-Arizona Treatment Network and assists with the annual flu campaign. Provides effective leadership for assigned staff and interacts effectively with others. Computer proficiency inclusive of the ability to access, enter and interpret computerized data/information required.

Our Ideal Candidate:
Current valid RN license to practice in Arizona with no restrictions. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or Associate’s degree in Nursing with three or more years experience
Three (3) nursing experience in a child/adolescent psychiatric facility.
- Two (2) Years od Supervisory experience
- Knowledge if child/adolescent care, policies and procedures, adminstrative and organizational ability.
Excellent communication, relationship management, and multitasking skills.
Must be available to attend 2 weeks of required training (paid, Mon-Fri 8:30am-5pm).
Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 39-month history check
Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results.
