ATSU - Part-Time Sponsored Project Coordinator

The Project Manager will report directly to the Director of Post Award Management and Compliance and will be responsible for ensuring the timely and compliant management/implementation of a sponsored project of broad scope and high priority. S/he will oversee and manage all aspects of the funded project for programmatic and fiscal compliance, and will collaborate with the Project Investigator/Project Director (PI/PD) to achieve the project’s stated objectives, methodology, data collection/analysis, evaluation, and outcomes dissemination--including reporting and publishing.
The responsibilities of the Sponsored Project Coordinator will include, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following:
The project coordinator will be a member of the project team, while working collaboratively with ATSU Sponsored Programs to handle the implementation and post-award coordination/ management of the funded project.
Specifically s/he will:
1. Manage documentation related to a multi-year, federally sponsored, medical education training project. S/he will work with the project team to manage the data, accounts, and documentation associated with project implementation.
2. Track and manage curriculum development activities/objectives to develop the healthcare delivery science content, components, and implementation strategies of the project. S/he will collaborate with the project team/leadership to achieve the funded objectives, methodologies, data collection and analysis, evaluation, and outcomes dissemination—including reporting and publishing.
This is a half-time institutionally-funded position.
Skill / Requirements
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications, skills, and accomplishments:
The project manager should have 2-3 years of experience (1) with project/grants management; budgeting/accounting; data tracking/assessment, competitive/technical writing, program development, proofreading, and editing; (2) in a highly productive and sometimes stressful environment; (3) working independently and in a team environment; and (4) with managing multiple deadlines and priorities. Familiarity with higher education/academic medicine and/or health care/research environment is beneficial. Previous publishing/writing desirable but not mandatory.
