Our program in the West Valley area is currently seeking to fill a After School Program Associate at our After School program.

SCHEDULE:

2:30pm to 8:00pm

This is a part-time position at 29 hours maximum.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Engages in Family Centered, strengths-based treatment planning and coordination and reports consumer needs to Child and Family Team. Provides information, education and guidance to consumers and support system members, advocacy and coordination of care. Serves as a member of a Child and Family Team if requested by the family and attends all Child and Family Team meetings. Utilize Positive Behavioral Support methodology when planning/participating in the activities to support child/family specific treatment goals. Provides minimal tutoring/help with homework if applicable.

1. Ability to communicate effectively and work in a team environment.
2. Two (2) years of experience in behavioral health field preferred
3. High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelors Degree preferred
4. Must have clean 39 month Motor Vehicle Record (No tickets, moving violations, etc)
5. Must be at least 21 years of age (25 years old to drive 15-passenger vans).
6. A valid Arizona Drivers License
7. Current and valid level 1 DPS Fingerprint Clearance card. A New Leaf may assist you with your fingerprinting renewal process upon expiration of current DPS Fingerprint Clearance Card.
8. Experience working with children/adolescents preferred.
