Tailoring your objective for each job you apply for is in your best interest. Recruiters want to see objectives that relate to their positions, not general ones, or ones that talks about a completely different company.

Companies like to know that you are willing to take the extra step to learn about them before an interview. Why would you apply for a job if you don't know what the company does? The Job Seekers that get the job are the ones that are willing to put in the extra effort. Take an extra twenty mintues before an interview to learn things about that company and really impress the recruiter with your knowledge and determination.

The banking industry has an image of suits and ties, so what do you do if you have an interview but you don't have a suit and tie? Cecilia tells us what is more important in an interview....the good news is that it's not a suit.
