Jobing Description
Assisting customers with concerns that range from connectivity and usability to overall 2nd level technical support and troubleshooting of their U-verse Services. This position requires critical thinking and superior verbal communications and customer service skills. Must be a critical thinker with strong problem solving skills. (Ability to identify and solve customer needs by asking questions, communicating effectively and establishing a positive rapport with each customer)
Skills / Requirements
* 1+ years experience in related technical support environment; solid technical background a plus (15 open positions).
* Bilingual in Spanish (several openings)
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* IPTV knowledge
* Voice over Internet experience a plus
* Excellent customer service skills and patience in handling customer stress
* Proficient with PC tools (Microsoft Office, Windows 2000/XP, FTP clients, Internet Skills)
* Problem determination and problem source identification
* Logical thinking and process thought patterns
* Knowledge preferred: scripting languages and html coding helpful
* Technical sales experience a plus
Education:
Preferred Bachelor Degree, in Computer Science/Information Systems or equivalent
experience plus 1.5+ years additional experience.
