Job Details:Overview: The Registered Nurse renders individualized, age specific and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. Assist with technologists during interventional procedures. Pre and Post Assessment on all interventional patients. Knowledge of conscious sedation, PICC line insertion. Assists other modalities with other interventional procedures.
Minimum Requirements: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. 1 year experience in critical care nursing. Current RN license in the State of Arizona, ACLS, PALS, CPR, and satisfactory completion of ECG course. If accepting a new grad (ACLS, and PALS, must be obtain within 6 months of hire.
Preferred Qualifications: Vascular access training. Moderate sedation training. 2 years experience in acute care nursing. Certification in specialty area of practice preferred. Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work with team members required. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with occasional periods of above average pressure. Computer skills preferred. Radiology PICC Interpretation for RN'S, PICC Certification, Moderate Sedation Course.
