Family Practice/Allergy Clinic seeking Part-Time RN or LPN

Allergy & Environmental Treatment Center in Scottsdale, AZ is a leading edge clinic designed to deliver quality care to individuals suffering from a variety of debilitating symptoms associated with inhalant, food, environmental and chemical sensitivities. The clinic offers a comprehensive array of services to patients including state of the art allergy testing, customized vaccines, therapeutic customized diets, nutritional supplementation, environmental controls and patient education.

The clinic has an excellent part-time opportunity (22 - 26 hours/week) for an experienced RN or LPN. Allergy/asthma experience is desired. We will train an experienced RN or LPN with Family Practice or Internal Medicine background (other backgrounds will also be considered) who has a strong interest in learning the allergy specialty

The staff is very friendly and team oriented with a focus on providing the absolute highest level of quality patient care in a compassionate manner.

The schedule for this position is as follows:

Wednesday: 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm

Thursday: 12:00 pm - 5:30 pm

Friday: 7:15 am - 5:30 pm

Two Saturdays/month: (1) 7:15 am - 11:15 am and
(2) 8:30 am - 1:30 pm

All shifts include a 30 minute lunch. The schedule is prepared 1-2 months in advance.

Skills / Requirements

Education and/or Experience:

* High school diploma and degree from an accredited school of nursing are required.
* Minimum of two years experience in a hospital or clinic setting is required. One year of experience in family practice, integrated medicine, and awareness of the needs of allergy patients is preferred.
* Ability to provide quality patient care in accordance with applicable standards, policies, and procedures.
* Ability to maintain the strictest patient confidentiality.
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with patients, families, peers, providers, insurers and physicians in a tactful, informed and customer service oriented manner.
* Demonstrated ability to work with as a team member to provide optimal levels of patient care.
* Demonstrates a professional attitude and appearance; Ability to present a positive image of the facility.
* Able to manage time and stress effectively, and adapt to unpredictable situations within the patient care setting.
* Excellent patient relationship skills that promote a caring, quality environment.
* Consistent behavior based in integrity and ethical principles.
* Strong computer skills preferred.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Current State of Arizona License is required.
