Job Details:Overview: Provides individualized, culture-specific patient care by attending to the personal needs and comfort of patients, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Assists the professional or licensed nurse as delegated in tasks requiring less technical skills. Participates in shift and bedside report. Participates and supports regional, facility, department, and unit initiatives.

Special Skills: Excellent customer service skills; basic computer skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact positively and effectively with patients, visitors and health care team members. Knowledge of patient rights, aseptic/sterile technique and infection control best practices.

Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent GED. One year experience in acute care setting as nursing assistant or certified CNA or nurse extern (completed block
one/first year of nursing school). Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license or meet minimum experience requirements; CPR. Patient Care Assistant Program; EKG training in selected units.
