Hydro Generation Operator - SRP operates dams with hydro electric generation just outside the Phoenix metropolitan area. A senior hourly position is presently available for an experienced dam tender with well developed skills in hydro generation power plant operations.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience dam tending and operating a hydro plant. The candidate will have experience with DCS, electrical troubleshooting, instruments/gauges/controls, safety of dams monitoring, environmental regulations, and safe work practices. A developed understanding of generators, turbines, transformers, protective relays, and EHV switching is essential.

High school diploma or GED is required. Must be at least 18 years of age, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to pass SRP's Physical Agility Test.
