Accel Electric AZ is an Electrical Contractor specializing in Commercial and Residential Electrical work, EVSE (Electrical Vehicle Supply Equipment) certified contractor, and retrofit lighting projects as a Commercial and Residential Trade Ally for APS, SRP, TEP and Unisource throughout the state of Arizona.

Job description

* Conduct lighting assessments for commercial facilities to identify energy efficiency retrofit opportunities which qualify under utility guidelines for rebate incentives.
* Perform and review energy savings calculations and economic analyses.
* Conduct site visits as needed to verify installation of replacement energy efficient equipment.
* Write reports using either utility company supported software, or spreadsheets to summarize results and to recommend savings amounts and incentive payments to business owners.
* Provide support and training to all departments including dispatch, technicians, accounting and sales.
* Recommend and specify energy efficient lighting solutions for commercial applications.
* Develop products and tools to support program enhancement and growth.
* Review and decipher incurred cost vs. projected costs and update to maintain profit margin.
* Source materials through lighting vendors for quotations.
* Provide technicians with pertinent information regarding new projects or technical processes.
* Update current scope on work order, in detail prior to return trips to improve information flow.
* Ability to promote and influence decision makers of the benefits to install energy efficiency measures.

Skills / Requirements

Skill Set

* Strong lighting, and moderate electrical knowledge/ background.
* Experience with utility programs preferred
* Past experience in quoting or specifying lighting projects.
* Computer skills with MS office, (Word, Excel, Power Point).
* Must have excellent people skills.
* Must be extremely organized and self motivated.
* Must be able to work in a fast paced environment.
