Card Operations Analyst (Tempe, AZ)

This position is responsible for daily maintenance and processing of card operations and card requests for products such as Commuter and Health Card Debit Cards. Resolves client, system and participant issues through analysis and research. This position works closely with the Customer Service department to resolve customers’ issues and respond to inquiries.

Job Responsibilities

• Receives and processes requests for additional cards as well as replacements, in a timely manner.
• Reviews and resolves blocked merchant requests. Researches facts and circumstances surrounding issues to attain resolution.
• Processes returned Health Care & Commuter Cards as appropriate.
• Works closely with Customer Services to research and respond to escalated or complex issues related to debit cards. Researches, analyses and resolves complex client/system/participant issues to reach resolution. Works closely with other departments to effect change where necessary.

• Education-HS Diploma, some college coursework in Business preferred
• Experience with debit or stored-value card processing, operations, or customization
• 1-2 years of progressively responsible experience resolving client, participant, or system issues in a support or customer service environment
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities in an organized professional manner
• Excellent fact-finding and problem solving skills
• The ability to analyze, research, and resolve issues that require significant system and process knowledge
• Ability to effect change working through other departments
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Customer Service orientation
• Superior attention to detail and the ability to perform work that is detailed and somewhat routine
• Ability to produce accurate results within deadlines and time constraints
