Partner Sales Specialist-CA Recovery

With broadened IT expertise and global reach, Insight gives organizations a pace setting and comprehensive approach to meeting strategic objectives with IT solutions. Be a solution provider! Proactively drive partner specific business into current and non-buying accounts. Discover net new opportunities, determine the best solution and close business. • Become a sales expert through various certification processes for specified partner. • Identify non-buying and current buying clients to target sales activities. • Conduct a specified number of outbound dials daily in order to uncover a set amount of opportunities. • Work with sales teams in developing relationships that will lead to more opportunities for specific product category. • Work with sales reps to proactively grow a certain product/category with current Insight clients. • Uncover sales opportunities and close those opportunities. • Educate sales reps via trainings and/or customer conference calls on how best to position specific partner’s product/category. • Meet minimum sales goals and activity performance goals. • Present results on a weekly/monthly/quarterly basis to sales management team. • Follow- up with clients on quotes and orders to ensure excellent client service. • Attend Company, vendor, and publisher trainings and webinars, as required. • Regular, predictable attendance is an essential function of the job. • Additional duties as assigned. Skills / Requirements
A minimum of a high school education is required. Some college business coursework, sales training, client service training or computer industry training preferred. Sales experience, telemarketing experience, client service experience and computer industry experience preferred.
Able to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints. Able to take initiative, plan, organize, and sell to various sized businesses. Must be able to understand clients’ requirements, meet deadlines and commitments, and excellent ability to follow up with clients. Strong ability to identify and use resources (time knowledge, comprehension and skills) to achieve deliverables. Effective use of PC including Microsoft Office required. Proficiency with the internet a must. Strong ability to gain knowledge of IT products and services required.
