Customer Product Support Representatives at Stream Global Services work with cutting edge technology from one of the world's most innovative hardware and software manufacturers. You'll also offer service agreement options to customers. It can be challenging work, but you'll be rewarded with bonuses for helping people quickly, professionally and making them smile. A paid two-week program will help you get started. You will also learn while on the job. As a Customer Product Support Representative you must be able to provide prompt, reliable, and accurate information to customers while maintaining effective communications during conversations by adjusting to the pace and technical level of the customer. Technical Support Representatives will also be responsible for accurately logging all interactions. Some representatives may make outbound calls to customers to provide status updates or follow-up on an unresolved case. Qualified candidates will possess:
- Technical skills including experience with a variety of software, networking, apps, and wireless devices. - User-level knowledge of computer technology and mobile devices such as PDAs, smart cell phones, MP3 players, external hard drives, printers, etc. - Experience with computer based content management. applications. - Basic understanding of data storage, file systems, and optical media. - Familiarity with different types of broadband and dialup services. - Experience with digital content management such as photos, movies, and music. - Knowledge of network hardware: cables, routers, and modems. - Excellent communication skills: written, verbal and active listening - Ability to multi-task - Strong interpersonal skills - Good documentation abilities - Solid organizational skills - Ability to work in a team environment - Detail orientation - Friendly, upbeat personality that enjoys assisting customers - Ability to work in a structured environment - High school diploma - Dependability and shift flexibility are key - User-level experience with multi-line phone system, including transferring calls. - Customer service experience - Call Center experience a strong plus.
