Are you a Nurse Practitioner with a certificate issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing and have a valid Arizona Registered Nurses license who has demonstrated successes as a strong people & process leader? Do you meet the qualifications listed below? If so, we want to know about you!
We are a private, non-profit organization committed to providing excellent primary health care, serving our community for 30 years and we have opportunities in our East Valley Family Center in Mesa, our Phoenix Family Care Center, and our Buckeye Family Care Center. Primarily responsible for providing comprehensive primary health care services through the identification, management and/or referral of the health problems; and the maintenance of the clients health by means of preventive care and health promotion. Will perform assignments which can vary from routine to exceptional in nature and are carried out with minimal guidance in accordance with clinic office practices, procedures and precedents. Work is performed under the general supervision of the physician/provider on site. Provide high quality health care services including the following: Accessible and available health services. Education of and effective communication with those served concerning the diagnosis and treatment of their medical conditions, appropriate preventive measures, and use of the health care system. Treatment that is consistent with clinical impressions and working diagnoses. Continuity of care Appropriate, accurate and complete medical record entries. Adequate and appropriate transfer of information when clients are referred to another health care provider. Assist individuals and the community to assume responsibility for the prevention of illness and the promotion, maintenance and restoration of health. Consult, refer, and collaborate with other disciplines involved in the delivery of total patient care. Assume the role and duties of other clinical personnel as necessary. Demonstrate knowledge of and ability to interpret licensing standards for mid-level practice. Provide clinical leadership and act as a role model to staff and students. Rotate call for emergencies under physician supervision or consultation in the evenings and on weekends as assigned. Skills / Requirements
ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Graduate from an approved Nurse Practitioner school. Nurse Practitioner certificate issued by the Arizona Board of Nursing Valid Arizona Registered Nurse license Demonstrated understanding of clinical methods and techniques. Ability to meet and deal effectively with clients, associates, and the general public. Basic business English, spelling, and punctuation skills. Basic computer efficiency Valid AZ drivers license Commitment to CAI mission, vision, and values Competency in dealing with people of various cultures and social status Important Notes
NONESSENTIAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
