Our software development client is seeking strong C Programmers with experience in development of Board Support Packages (BSPs) for Real-Time Operating Systems. The successful C Programmers will be part of a team responsible for an Eclipse based tool set which includes an FAA-certified, Real-Time Operating System, supporting C, C++, Ada, and mixed language development. Great opportunity for a C Programmer to further develop their skills.Our client develops, sells and supports off-the-shelf and custom software development systems and related services. Their customers are developers of embedded, safety critical applications in the aerospace & defense and medical markets. They use tools such as compiler systems, run-time systems and test tools for Real-Time Java, C, Embedded C++, Ada and JOVIAL application development.

Requirements:* Experience in development of Board Support Packages and device drivers for Real-Time Operating Systems* Specific RTOS experience (Deos, VxWorks and/or LynxOS)* Solid knowledge of the C programming language* Solid knowledge of the PowerPC or Intel 80x86 architecture and experience in assembly language programming* Experience with development to the DO-178B standard* BSEE / BSCS / BSCE in Computer Science or equivalent. MSCS / MSEE / MSCE is an asset (but not required)
