Jobing Description
The Director provides overall strategic direction in the development of and planning for all onboard products, on all flights, in all classes of service, leading to the achievement of our internal catering vision for the future


Detailed Description

  • Provide leadership in the enhancement and refining of our onboard MarketPlace retail program, focusing on increased incremental revenue and supply chain efficiency, while minimizing risk.

  • Primary liaison for the InFlight Division with all other functional areas, for all issues related to new onboard products and initiatives. Key relationships will include: Inflight Operations, Marketing, Purchasing, Airport Customer Service, and Express Operations.

  • Provide strategic leadership in the execution of large-scale initiatives, from initial planning, financial analysis and justification, communication, and implementation, to product evaluation and ongoing analysis.

  • Create and maintain an environment focused on continuous quality improvement; seek out new business processes and models ensuring long term sustainable high performance.

  • Play a critical role in the transformation of the organization as it relates to catering reliability, financial performance, and overall customer satisfaction.



  • Skills / Requirements
    Undergraduate degree in relevant field or equivalent experience/training

    At least 7 years work experience developing new, innovative consumer-focused products and services

    Demonstrated cross-functional leadership and relationship-building skills

    High level of business acumen; extensive industry knowledge, including an understanding of industry trends, and the competitive environment

    Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, and manage large-scale product and service initiatives and projects in an efficient, cost effective manner.

    Highly developed ability to manage budgets and the budgeting process, using company resources efficiently and effectively

    Demonstrated extensive experience managing vendor relationships, including contract negotiations and administration

    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels within the organization

    Extensive experience in developing and delivering professional presentations

    Proficient with Microsoft Office software
