Job: Analyst, Technologies Lead - Quality

Sr. (Unit Testing) Software Engineer responsible for developing software Unit Testing Architecture/Framework for the online marketing division in IT at US Airways. This position requires bringing vision and growth to a heavily used Microsoft Team System environment. This person shall be the advocate for unit testing best practices as well as the leader in implementing Automated Unit Test Frameworks for the different application groups.


Detailed Description
Organizing and contributing to the conversion of unit manual test cases to automated test cases where cost effective.
Develop Unit Test Plans and ensure that standards and policies are adhered to.
Develop unit test cases validating the developed code for correctness, performance and correct interface with other components of the application.
Implement best practices for Visual Studio Team System
Assist and create TFS-Based management reports
Participate in code review with developers
Keep current on standards

A minimum of 7 years of software development, with 3+ years leading unit testing efforts for medium to large sized projects
Proficient with unit testing frameworks, e.g. NUnit, VSTS, etc
Proficient with functional testing frameworks or tools, e.g. FIT, VSTS, Selenium etc
Proficient with load testing tools, e.g, VSTS, LoadRunner and methods for incorporating them into continuous integration environments
Working knowledge of PCI, SOX and security processes and standards
Agile development methodologies; Scrum or XP preferred
Working knowledge of Microsoft server techniques.
Possesses strong analytical and problem solving skills
Solid verbal, technical and interpersonal skills (presentation and formal documentation)
Ability to acquire working knowledge of new technologies and tools at an accelerated pace.
