Job: Analyst 1 Lead, BizTalk

The role of this position is to support the overall software development effort by taking responsibility for the BizTalk environments needed during software development and help prepare for the release of BizTalk applications to production. Responsibilities include:

Install, configure, and maintain the BizTalk environment in the dev, test, and staging environments.

Working with the development teams and management, establish best practices to support development activity, including design, development, testing, and deployment standards.

Working with project teams, release management, and the operations teams, supports the smooth migration from development to production. This may include training, documentation, and developing deployment plans and scripts.

Work with QA to develop appropriate testing strategies, including load and stress testing.

Establish appropriate standards to ensure the BizTalk environment is easily maintained and problems are quickly identified. This will include setting standards for development team to follow while creating new BizTalk components.

Provides appropriate status reporting to management and project teams.

Maintain technical proficiency in a variety of technologies, including but not limited to BizTalk administration and development, Windows server administration, and agile software development methodologies such as Scrum and XP.

At least two years experience administering BizTalk.
At least five years experience in a large IT organization.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Familiar with SOA/ESB principles.
Certifications in BizTalk highly desired.
Experience with Microsoft Team Foundation Server desired.
Familiar with testing best practices, especially as it relates to BizTalk applications.
Bachelor degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience required
