Job: YOUTH ACTIVITIES COORDINATOR - PART TIME

Provide a fun, safe and active learning environment for Silverleaf’s children. Design, develop and implement programs for members’ children. Seek opportunities to create memories by anticipating needs, exceeding expectations and building relationships.

Supervises, evaluates and schedules children’s program staff
• Plans and monitors activities
• Prepares weekly activity reports as required
• Prepares monthly financial reports relevant to the program; recommends corrective action strategies, if necessary, to help assure that budget goals are met
• Works with parents to plan and evaluate on-going educational and entertainment programs
• Provides quality service to all members and team members
• Completes payroll timesheets for staff
• Organizes and plans birthday parties and special events for the member’s children
• Produces children’s communications for members including the monthly children’s schedule
• Performs other duties as required by your manager

Education and Experience:
• College degree preferable – minimum high school graduate
• 3 years prior experience with youth camps and or programs
• CPR certification required
• Knowledge of the following: team work, safety, keep up to date on current youth interests, child development, computer literate


Physical Requirements:
• Flexible and long hours sometimes required
• Medium work – Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects
• Must have high level of physical fitness
• Unusual Working Conditions: May be scheduled nights, weekends, holidays and occasional overtime; may work indoors or outdoors in a variety of weather conditions

• Must be creative and enjoy creating a fun and safe atmosphere for children
