Florence Community Healthcare, a 65-bed full-service community hospital will open its doors to the public in January 2010 featuring state-of-the-art technology as well as superior patient care.
We are looking for dedicated Supply Chain Director with hospital experience who is committed to creating a culture of community that follows the strong sense of community in our hometown, Florence, Arizona. The Director of Supply Chain Operations will lead and manage all facility Supply Chain activities and manage the profit and loss of the facility Supply Chain operations directly supporting the planning, development and implementation of supply chain models and performance improvement initiatives at Florence Community Healthcare. The Director of Supply Chain Operations integrates the department's services with the hospital's primary functions, develops/implements policies and procedures that guide or support service, assesses and improves department performance, and ensures orientation and continuing education of departmental staff. In this role, you will work directly with the Chief Financial Officer in the development and evaluation of hospital department goals, budgets, policies and procedures, and providing expertise to achieve objectives. The ideal candidate has demonstrated high quality of processes and work results with appropriate change management principles understood and applied to initiatives. This opportunity requires:
Minimum of three years hospital supply chain management experience required Bachelors degree in Business Management, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or similar and certification in Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodology like GE CAP preferred. Important Notes
