COPE Community Services, Inc. is currently seeking a full-time Clinical Liaison Team Leader to work at one of our case management sites. Under the supervision of the Program Coordinator, is expected to serve as a participating member of the client’s team and provide services to promote positive behavioral change for clients. Responsible for clinical oversight of client care, and to the team as it relates to the delivery of services, including the assessment and service planning processes. Provides or coordinates all covered services (e.g. case management, outreach, crisis intervention, and counseling) to address clients’ individual treatment needs. Responsible for providing ongoing training, support and education to their team.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: 1. Knowledge of clinical documentation and service delivery requirements. 2. Knowledge of benefits and entitlement process and the availability of community resources for population(s) served. 3. Knowledge of Title 36 rules, regulations, processes, and necessary court documentation. 4. Knowledge of current DSM diagnoses and criteria. 5. Knowledge of treatment options available to population(s) served. 6. Able to identify types of medications commonly prescribed for mental disorders, personality disorders, and substance abuse and the common side effects and adverse reactions of the medications. 7. Demonstrate knowledge of the special needs of SMI, brain injured, geriatric, and substance abuse populations. 8. Able to coordinate services and implement processes as directed by supervisor. 9. Able to assess potential crisis situations and call for assistance if needed. 10. Able to operate common office equipment and have basic computer (word processing, spreadsheet, and database) skills. 11. Able to effectively communicate orally and in writing. Skills / Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
Masters degree in a behavioral health related field, no experience necessary * Masters in non-behavioral related field and 30 semester hours in BH education and two (2) years in BH work experience * Bachelors in BH related field and two (2) years BH work experience * BA in non-BH related field and 30 semesters hours in BH education and four (4) years BH work experience * Associate in BH experience and four (4) years BH work experience * AA in non-BH related field and 30 semester hours in BH education and five (5) years BH work experience. Must be at least 21 years of age (licensing requirement) and possess a valid Arizona driver's license. Applicants must be able to pass pre-employment drug test.
