Overview: The position is at the Banner Estrella Medical Center located in Northwest Phoenix on Thomas Rd. & the West Loop 101. The Nursing Assistance will work in the WIS AP/PP dept. This is a full time evening shift position, 6pm-630am, 3/12s, days will vary to include alternative holidays and weekends. Responsibilities: Performs routine patient care under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse/Licensed Practical Nurse to promote patient comfort and contribute to the overall patient plan of care. The nursing assistant must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served in his or her assigned area. Banner Health Service Standards and support of healing environment are exhibited in all aspects of the nursing assistant's performance.

Must have healthcare clinical training or experience within the hospital environment preferrably in Woman Infant Services. Arizona state Certification required. High school diploma or equivalent may be required in specific areas, preferred in all other areas.
