First Credit Union is currently accepting applications for a Special Credit Officer.

In this new full-time/temporary position, you will perform analytical, documentation, servicing, monitoring, maintaining and reporting on distressed real estate to include: construction, lot, home equity and 1st mortgage loans.

Preparing documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with Credit Union policy, procedures and state/federal regulations. This includes organizing and updating loan files and action plans. Will also act as a resource of information for lending, collections and executive management.

Strong analytical, communication, organizational skills are required in this fast paced position. Knowledge of real estate lending, appraisal process and title work also is required. Proficient in Excel, Word and other industry specific software (Laser-Pro & Fiscal), ability to work well with supervision and on own. Previous Credit Union/Banking experience a must! The successful applicant will have a demonstrated ability to grow and maintain professional relationships and a minimum of three years experience in this field.
