Job: Network Administrator

The Network Administrator plans, develops, implements, upgrades, monitors, and improves all aspects of electronic network and telecommunications systems and connectivity. This position performs network and telecommunications health checks and monitoring, security audits, as well as ensures quality of service.

Education:
-Associates degree or educational equivalent and three or more years job related experience.
-Applicable network hardware/software certification

Required Skills and Abilities: (as measured by system down time vs. system availability, timeliness in addressing issues and customer satisfaction.)

-Domain Configuration, including Active Directory and Group Policy Objects
-Windows/Linux System Administration
-Experience with TCP/IP, WAN/LAN wired/wireless/endpoint network device configurations and routing
-Experience and understanding of network topologies and infrastructure in a multi-site WAN environment
-Experience in Network Administration, security methods and firewalling
-Demonstrated experience in documenting systems, services, and topology using text and diagrams
-Firewall, VPN, and NAT
-Competency in dealing with people of various cultures
-Demonstrated clear and effective systems, procedural, and user documentation creation and maintenance
-Ability to maintain confidentiality
-Prioritization and multi-tasking skills are required
