Position Open: One position open until filled
Position Title: Web Page Design Specialist Volunteer Department/Division: Information Technology Bureau Workplace Address: 2310 N. 20th Avenue, Phoenix, AZ 85009 Number of Hours/Week: Flexible. Days of Work Week: Flexible, Monday – Friday, days worked can be modified to fit volunteer’s work/school schedule. Start/End Hours: Flexible. Hours worked must be within normal business hours, 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Monday through Friday. Position Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Department’s Webmaster with a variety of web page additions and edits using good design practices. A variety of other tasks may include: web page graphic additions and modifications, web page copy write up and review, web page formatting, and the use of a variety of reporting tools. Application and Selection Process: Human Resources reserves the right to close this position without prior notification. Once the application is completed and returned to Human Resources, the application will be reviewed and individuals may be selected for an interview. Upon successful completion of the interview process, the applicant will be scheduled for a polygraph examination, drug screening and background investigation. Qualifications: Must have taken college level courses dealing with basic web page & HTML design, graphic design, and basic grammar. Must have some experience with the following software programs: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and have experience with HTML, XHTML, and CSS by had and using Dreamweaver. In addition, good grammar, punctuation, and spelling are required. Important Notes
