Position Title: Web Page Design Specialist Volunteer

Number of Hours/Week: Flexible.

Days of Work Week: Flexible, Monday – Friday, days worked can be modified to fit volunteer’s work/school schedule.

Start/End Hours: Flexible. Hours worked must be within normal business hours, 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m. Monday through Friday.

Position Description: The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting the Department’s Webmaster with a variety of web page additions and edits using good design practices. A variety of other tasks may include: web page graphic additions and modifications, web page copy write up and review, web page formatting, and the use of a variety of reporting tools.

Upon successful completion of the interview process, the applicant will be scheduled for a polygraph examination, drug screening and background investigation.

Qualifications: Must have taken college level courses dealing with basic web page & HTML design, graphic design, and basic grammar. Must have some experience with the following software programs: Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, creative, and have experience with HTML, XHTML, and CSS by had and using Dreamweaver. In addition, good grammar, punctuation, and spelling are required.
