The Sales Representative for an Express Employment Professionals office is a critical position and is the person responsible for securing new business. This is done by identifying potential business opportunities in the local community and contacting key decision makers, through sales calls, by phone, and in-person.

Must be comfortable contacting and engaging with business people at all levels, selling intangible, critical business services. This requires the ability to use consultative selling techniques (communication skills, questioning, and listening techniques) and the discipline of being persistent while following a daily and weekly plan, with the desire to become a top performing sales professional.
This position involves being in the field 9am-4pm making 100 in person calls per week a combination of appointment calls, cold calls, telemarketing calls with the goal of obtaining 2 new clients per week. discussing workforce and workplace challenges with managers at businesses to uncover how Express can help.

Prepare and execute a daily sales plan.
Maximize territory performance
Communicate and present Express' full range of capabilities to prospects
Effectively work with and communicate with internal team

1-3 years outside sales experience or comparable experience
High energy
Ability to set, achieve and exceed goals on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
Proven ability to establish relationships with key decision makers within organizations
Ability to work well as a team member, enlisting the assistance of the team in reaching your goals.
Ability to work independently and with little supervision after training period
