Overview: Banner Desert Medical Center is a 600+bed tertiary-care facility, located in Mesa, Arizona. With 400+ cardio/vascular cases per year, we are seeking an experienced full time CVICU RN for the 7-bed unit. Prefer at least 1 year CVICU experience. May consider RNs with recent ICU experience; knowledge-base typically acquired in two years of fulltime employment. ***NO NEW GRADUATES at this time*** Responsibilities: Assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with facility and departmental policies; and, in accordance with standards of professional nursing practice. This position is accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and others who are under his/her direction. The Registered Nurse utilizes specialized knowledge, judgement, and nursing skills necessary to assess data, plan/provide/evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of patients on his/her assigned unit.

Must have an RN License valid in Arizona prior to start date. Current BLS and ACLS required. Relates throughout the interview process the experience, training and education needed to perform the job.
