Job: Loan Modification Retention/Collections Specialist

American Platinum Financial Services, a consumer finance company in North Scottsdale is seeking a full-time, Loan Modification Retention/Collections Specialist seeking growth opportunities in our Loan Modification Department. This position is ideal for the multi-tasked candidate who is artful in communication, innovative and has no reservations speaking to existing clients about past due fees. Our next key player thrives in a friendly, open, honest culture that is fast-paced, busy, and a somewhat stressful with opportunities to develop and grow with our company.

This individual will be responsible for reaching out to our existing clients who have missed their fee payments to collect or work out a payment plan. This individual must be diligent in following up with our clients multiple times on a daily basis to ensure payments are received so that we can continue working on the clients behalf. These clients are generally very motivated, being that the services we provide will allow them to afford their mortgage payments ultimately allowing them to stay in their homes.

* Self-starter with a strong work ethic
* Minimum 2 years' collections experience (must be recent) with a proven track record
* Excellent analytical, organization and communication skills
* Work in a fast-paced, busy, and somewhat stressful environment with little supervision
* Maintain physical stamina and proper mental attitude while dealing effectively with clients, management and team members, while working under pressure to meet deadlines
* Proficiency in Windows, Word, PowerPoint, particularly Excel, and internet-based applications.
* Ability to maintain confidential information.
* Outstanding written and oral communication skills
