Job: Assistant Property/Business Manager

We are a Multifamily Property Management/Ownership company rapidly growing as we seek highly motivated people to join our organization and be part of our team. We are currently looking for a strong Assistant Property/Business Manager.

Assistant Property/Business Managers are responsible for providing direct support to the Property Manager in performing move-in/ move-out functions as well as administrating one or more critical property management functions (lease renewals, marketing, resident retention, and/or rent collection and reporting). This position may require some leasing and selling. All applicants must have experience in Multi-Family Properties, the ability to determine the needs of a potential resident, address those needs with the right apartment home, and close the sale. The Assistant Property/Business Manager schedules appointments, follows-up on inquiries, and must have knowledge of Fair Housing and Retention as stated by law. Requirements
Ability to develop and structure teams.
Strong planning, organizational and execution skills.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in fast-paced workplace and focus resources to produce results.
Experience with tax credit/Section 8, 42 and 236 properties preferred.
Experience with YARDI software required.
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Procedures, Cash Processing, Collections, and Accounts Receivable Processing.
Bachelor degree preferred
