Community Liaison/ Sales & Marketing Rep - Home Care

The Community Liaison/ Sales & Marketing Rep - Home Care is a key position within the company is responsible for increasing Medicare and Managed Care admissions for our home health agency. The Community Liaison/ Sales & Marketing Rep - Home Care liaison will develop and implement both business-building and relationship-building strategies for identified profitable services including Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Wound Care, Diabetic Education, Disease and Pain Management as well as Cardiac Care.

The Community Liaison/ Sales & Marketing Rep - Home Care is expected to generate appropriate patient referrals/admissions from customers and continue to grow the number of referrals/admissions over time by establishing and maintaining professional relationships with all referral sources.

Key referral sources include physicians, nursing homes, assisted living facilities and hospital personnel, including but not limited to case managers, discharge planners and other appropriate referral sources. The liaison will actively establish and maintain market awareness, acceptance and branding of the company as The Agency of Choice throughout our local service area. He/she will represent our company and its services in a competent professional and responsive manner and maintain standards of high quality customer service in compliance with federal and state regulations and guidelines.

Skills / Requirements
The ideal Community Liaison/ Sales & Marketing Rep - Home Care will have the following qualifications:
* Minimum age requirement of 18.
* Bachelor's degree and related healthcare experience and knowledge preferred.
* Minimum of three to five years of professional home care sales experience preferred.
* Home Care experience preferred

Additional related experience in the health care industry also preferred.
* Demonstrated history of positive sales results, preferably involving sophisticated and meaningful customer relationships that led to outstanding results.
* Excellent communication, negotiation and public relations skills.
* Ability to market effectively with customers, referral sources, and the community.
* Ability to work some weekends
* Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
* Satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
* Satisfactory criminal background check.
* Self-directed with the ability to work with little supervision.
* Flexible and cooperative in fulfilling all obligations.
* Ability to be creative and "think outside the box" and have fun doing so.
