Job: Litigation Paralegal

Assists clients and Brauer Law Offices PLC attorneys, assist clients with legal matters, researches law, investigates facts, and prepares documents when needed and directed by attorneys
Assists Clients in preparing legal documents such as case files and legal documents for trial for review, approval, and use by Attorney.
Assists clients with specialized legal knowledge while directing clients to legal resources either online or in their domicile.
Receives all legal correspondence from clients and notes accounts.
Liaises with Brauer Law Offices attorneys in various states on client matters.
Provide assistance with legal research, regulatory requests, inquiries and responses, document review and administration; and performing other compliance and legal duties as needed.
Performs specialized legal research on issues as directed by Attorney.
Acts as law librarian, keeping and monitoring legal volumes and ensuring legal volumes are up to date. Maintains litigation calendar.

College Degree, Paralegal diploma or certificate

Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in the banking, financial services or collections industries preferred but not required
Must be proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to diplomatically interact with internal and external customers.
