Job: Team Leader-Translation (2nd Shift)

***** Foreign Language skills required for translating documents. Must be able to read in one or more of the languages being translated (Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian) and type the translations in English.

Job Description
* This position will support the Census Paper Data Capture Center located at 43rd Avenue and Buckeye Road in Phoenix. This project will be completed mid-late 2010. This is a temporary position without benefits.
* Provide guidance to Direct Reports in performing daily tasks and provide direction throughout the shift. Identify personnel problems and report them to the Department Manager
* Support the Department Manager with tracking of daily attendance
* Ensure all materials and supplies are ready for daily operations at the beginning of the shift
* Meet production and accuracy standards. Track daily productivity rates and identify employees who fail to meet expectations
* Coordinate break schedules. May be required to relieve workers on breaks
* Signal the end of the shift. Schedule and coordinate overtime schedules.
* Ensure work area safety guidelines are being followed.
* Lead the team in pre-shift physical exercises
* Perform workstation tasks. Perform other duties as assigned that are not supervisory in nature
* Interface with the Help Desk Analyst in reporting problems to the Help Desk
* Review and update employee timekeeping records weekly.

Shift:
2nd shift will be stagger between 3:30pm-2:30am

Job Requirements
* High School Diploma or GED
* Basic reasoning and judgment skills, as well as basic math skills
* Must be able to read and write and communicate clearly one or more of the languages (Korean, Vietnamese, Mandarin Chinese, Russian)
* Previous supervisory or Team Lead experience required.
* PC skills highly desired
* Past experience working in a light industrial setting highly desirable.
* Prior experience with Data Entry is required (must pass keying test).

* Requires Suitability Determination (Government Background check), including fingerprinting.
