Planning Analyst Sr.

Phoenix-based SRP, the nation's third-largest public power and water utility, is recruiting a Sr. Planning Analyst for its Product Development Dept. located in Tempe, AZ.

Job Requirements:
This position requires a Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Economics, Marketing or Business Administration.

Experience in the field of energy efficiency engineering, demand response, program management, market research, economic forecasting or other applied energy-related experience in a related area.

This position requires a strong knowledge of utility-sponsored energy efficiency rebate programs, demand response programs, and commercial and residential energy efficiency technologies and measures. Candidate will have a strong understanding of energy and demand savings opportunities, and appropriate methodologies and technics used to calculate savings at a measure and program level.

Individual will need to possess excellent oral and written communication skills; good interpersonal skills; the ability to perform multiple assignments concurrently and to work effectively within a team environment.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will identify and research new products and technologies to determine the potential impact on energy, demand and the environment as well as customer acceptance and satisfaction. Candidate will work with Supervisor of Product Development to evaluate energy efficiency technologies and demand response programs that will economically deliver benefits to SRP and our customers. This includes developing, implementing and refining strategies and tactics appropriate for the programs, modeling and calculating savings potential of measures and programs, developing budgets to cover all capital and operating costs, and coordinating major work efforts related to marketing, communications and promotion of the developed programs.
