Job: Manufacturing Associate

Ascent Healthcare Solutions is the nation's leading & most well respected reprocessor/remanufacturer of single-use medical devices for the healthcare industry. We are currently seeking talented & proven individuals to join our growing Company.

Manufacturing Associates are responsible for ensuring the integrity of reprocessed medical devices through various stages of production in accordance with our quality control system and manufacturing procedures.

Responsibilities (may vary at each reprocessing stage):

Input information into electronic data base to accurately identify medical devices and enter them into JD Edwards ERP system

Break-down devices and visually inspect for defects

Complete initial cleaning, final cleaning, packaging, or sterilization of batched medical devices in conformance to manufacturing procedures

Operate mechanical cleaning equipment

Use hand tools to clean devices

Visual inspection of devices utilizing a microscope or mag-light

Conduct visual self-inspection of work in process and rework as required

Routinely clean work area to assurance compliance to environmental controls

Read and follow precise manufacturing procedures with a high degree of attention to detail

Accurately record information on production and quality control documents to maintain quality records (paper and computerized as required)

Minimum 5 years in a production environment preferred

Detail-oriented, working with a high level of precision with experience in inspection methods

Proficiency with mechanical equipment, hand tools and microscopes or mag-lights

Basic skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

Willing to work varied schedule and overtime, when necessary

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Willing to wear full body protective equipment

High School Diploma or equivalent
