Job: Marketing Database II

General Summary:

Under general supervision, this position administers database servers, designs database structures, and collects and analyzes data for client's program. This position also generates marketing reports. This position is also responsible for maintenance of client's files, databases, and data integrity as well as database performance.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

This position has the authority to manage the data hygiene, data manipulation and upload of data into the system of record. Incumbent will participate in marketing segmentation projects and results.

This position maintains multiple databases including monitoring daily updates, verifying data integrity, backup/restore, and fixing any data issues. This position has the authority to design and develop database structures, administer database servers, and optimize database server performance.

This position has the authority to make data analysis and database design recommendations to the Marketing Database Manager. This position has the authority to develop programs to integrate analysis into database structures and processes. This position has the authority to design, code, and test, debug and document programs for the purpose of marketing processes and reports.

Assist in working with team members and IT staff to ensure all database functions are working correctly. Assist in working with Marketing Management to develop the criteria and tools to net the best prospects for outbound efforts.
Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Specifications:

Relevant Bachelor's Degree required.

2 or more years experience as a Database Administrator or Developer
Additional Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

Must have 2-3 years of hands on experience with SQL Server 2000 to 2005 above

Intermediate to advanced SQL skills

Must have knowledge of relational database environments

Experience with data driven web development a plus

Detail-Oriented

Excellent problem solving skills

Self-reliant and self-directed

Ability to communicate well in narrative, tabular, and graphical form
