Job: Technology Leader

We are looking for a candidate that has overall Internal Technology Management Experience. The position will be to lead a small but highly experienced national team doing desktop, server, network, Voice over IP and overall support for a midsized publicly traded company. The position will require a very high level of technology understanding, leadership for technology staff members, planning, budgeting and delivery of key projects throughout the corporation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversight of technology teams daily operations.
- Ability to lead technology based resources of all levels
- High Level Project Management (projects are varied and they probably will be numerous and concurrent).
- Maintenance of relationships with vendors.
- Financial/budgetary tracking working with departmental managers.
- Closely work with Executive Staff on creation of long term strategy and planning for future growth and development of the business – “implementation” of said strategy and planning is a given.
- Assist in continuous process improvement in methods and procedures including establishing performance measures and methods to track, attain, and report results.
- Responsible for overseeing the uptime and maintenance of all internal and external infrastructure servers and applications.
- Acts as a point person for end-user and system-wide issues.
- Oversight of all servers, network equipment, miscellaneous equipment including assessing and reporting power, space, and cooling usage on a regular basis.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance of all software licensing, including monitoring, documenting, and approval of software purchases

- Bachelor of Science degree, preferably in a technical discipline, or equivalent training, education and on the job experience.
- 5+ years of technical experience.
- 2+ in a true technology leadership role.
- Demonstrated project management and problem analysis/resolution skills.
- Must be driven, self-motivated, and a strong team player.
- Must not be afraid to ask “why” and/or propose “how”!
- High Energy

Preferred Experience:
- Server Software and Hardware Operations knowledge, including:
- In-depth knowledge of Windows and Linux system administrator functions, database management, software licensing and end user support.
- Server monitoring software and processes.
- Knowledge of IT processes, technology and change management techniques.
- Demonstrated experience managing infrastructure-related projects and daily operations including software deployment and upgrades.
