Blood Systems is searching for an enthusiastic individual to join us at our corporate office in Scottsdale, AZ. This individual will be responsible for obtaining up-to-date product pricing and availability for materials and services needed on a continuing basis. In addition, this person will place orders, expedite back orders, review/analyze group contracts and identify and recommend areas of standardization and savings opportunities.
Skills / Requirements
Knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of purchasing/buying will be required. Associate’s degree or equivalent with a minimum of 3 years related experience is required. Previous experience in blood banking or hospital/laboratory/healthcare experience is preferred. 6 years of previous purchasing/buying experience preferred.
