Our client is looking is looking for a committed team player to fill the Project Manager position that is built around two primary job roles. The first role is to manage the software development life cycle implementation. Some of the tasks associated with this role are to maintain project documentation, review deliverables, and interface with quality assurance to hand over deliverables. A commitment to project deadlines, ability to adhere to company processes, and promptness in assessing project risk are very important to the success of this role. The second role is to represent the engineering department in a daily interdepartmental customer focused committee. This function requires the ability to facilitate communication from engineering to all other departments with a heightened focus on all things that affect the customer. Primary Duties:Manage engineering projects to meet aggressive deadlinesRevise and maintain Software Development Life Cycle documentation to meet changing needs and requirements to ensure that they are complete and accurateResponsible for tracking and reporting of engineering projects to managementRepresent engineering in cross-functional customer focused daily meetings to address high priority customer and inter-departmental issues and concernsManage assignment and tracking of incoming customer issues to development for all productsMandatory Requirements: Excellent verbal and written communication skillsHave at least 3 years of experience managing and/or leading software development projectsGood understanding of software development processes, database and system designProficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and ProjectDesirable Skills:Familiarity with Internet, client/server and web services architectureBackground as a software developmentThorough understanding of network infrastructure
