POSITION SUMMARY:

A commission with base Internet Sales Specialist is responsible for making outbound phone calls to potential new customers who have contacted the company via the Internet. This Specialist works from a centralized location and is evaluated on the ability to meet appointment goals and revenue targets. He/she must be goal-oriented, enthusiastic, energetic, self disciplined and have high level of oral and written communication skills.

*Will utilize an online database to call potential customers and generate dealership appointments

*Set, track and follow-up on all leads

*Focus on efficient, timely follow up of leads to ensure the highest success rate in appointment setting and sales volume.

*Determine the type of buying experience the customers wants and respond accordingly

*Develop professional relationships with customers to identify vehicle needs

*Fully explain the steps of the sales process to customers

*Work as a contributing member of the Sales team by partnering with dealerships in meeting monthly sales goals and revenue targets.

*Maintain positive working relationships with immediate team members and the company's Sales team/dealership employees

*Conduct business within DriveTime policies and procedures

*Hourly base with high potential commission earnings

*At least 2 years of telemarketing/phone sales required
*1-3 years proven success in exceeding goals and building relationships with customers and coworkers
*Flexibility to work varied shifts - including nights and weekends
*Excellent written, verbal communication and listening skills required
*Good attention to detail and strong multi tasking skills
*Ability to interact with customers, managers, and co-workers in a professional, courteous manner
*3-5 years of experience in working with Office programs, including but not limited to, Excel and Outlook
*Proficient and comfortable with operating a computer keyboard and navigating the internet
*High School degree or equivalent preferred but not required
