Job: Early Childhood Nursery Attendants

Job Description:
These positions report to the Preschool Manager. Under general supervision, the Attendant will assist in the operation of the weekend Children’s church services in his/her assigned classroom(s) and ministry area. Duties include, but are not limited to: set-up and clean-up of ministry area including classrooms and worship area; interaction and development of relationships with children, parents, and volunteers; facilitate child participation in outlined activity plan; participate with children in worship service; prepare and distribute child take-home bags with weekly bulletin and craft; attend to all child needs including comforting, feeding, diapering, etc.; include jr. staff, volunteers, and new staff in class leadership; ensure security of child check-in and check-out; maintain safe, clean, and secure classroom/environment; attend PT Children’s staff meeting; attend suggested trainings/staff development opportunities; follow all Radiant Church and Higher Definition Children’s Ministry policies including discipline, conduct, safety and security rules, guidelines, and procedures. Work to achieve and maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.

Schedule:
These are part-time hourly positions of 10–15 hours per week with Saturday and Sunday hours required. There are periodic mandatory weekend holiday hours as well. These positions also have the possibility of week night hours, in addition to the weekend hours, that could increase the position up to a possible 25 hours per week.

Job Requirements:
Interested individual must have a love for children, enthusiasm, energy, patience, dedication, flexibility, and ability to adjust in a fast-paced environment. Interested individual must have the ability to become safety certified. Interested individual must also be a team-player with the desire to be a positive influence and role model in a Christian environment. Applicant must be able to lift at least 30 lbs.

Personal Requirements:
Personal integrity in all areas of life. Regular attendance of a worship service with your family. By the time of their employment, a commitment to become a Radiant Church member within 6 months of hire.
