Job: Customer Service Representative

As a Customer Service Representative, you will provide our policyholders with the kind of personal attention and outstanding customer service they have come to expect. Day or night, when a customer calls or emails us for help with a policy, our counselors are there ready to assist them. Through on-site training, we will teach you how to resolve customer requests and inquiries, analyze insurance contracts, navigate our extensive customer database and sell additional insurance products to fill gaps on our customer's policy.

Important job details:

Starting Pay: $14.00 hourly / $28,210.00 annually
Salary with a bachelors degree $15.38 hourly / $31,000.00 annually

Bonus for having P & C License

Start Date: January 25, 2010

Orientation: (First 3 days) Mon-Wed: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Licensing: (2 weeks) Mon - Fri: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm

Training Schedule: (10 weeks) Mon-Fri: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm

Transition/OTJ Training: (4 weeks) Split days off, with one day off during the week and one day off on the weekend. You will have an 8.5 hour shift starting anywhere between the hours of 8am and 11am.

Other responsibilities include:

Commitment to providing outstanding customer service.

Resolve requests and concerns in an efficient & timely manner.

Educate our policyholders on their insurance coverage.

Demonstrate an understanding and commitment to first call resolution.

Minimum requirements of a Customer Service Representative:

High School Diploma/General Education Diploma (GED)

Customer service experience (prefer 2 years or more)

Effective written and verbal communication skills

High level of dependability

Stable work history

Strong computer, typing and grammar skills
