Job: Designer, Instructional Media Maintenance Training

Responsible for editing, designing, developing, revising, and creating storyboards for a variety of training products across the organization. Position to be based in Phoenix Maintenance Training.

Detailed Description

* Edits and approves training documents using Adobe Flash.

* Creates storyboards for computer-based training programs

* Creates scripts for new training videos

* Consults with internal customers regarding design, development and revision of their

training products

* Designs and develops new participant guides, instructor guides, newsletters, and job aids

* Revises existing participant guides, instructor guides, and job aids based on new

policy changes

* Ensures training materials are in compliance with Federal Aviation Regulations and

ensures responsiveness to regulatory agencies (including TSA, DOD, DOT, FAA,

FBI and NTSB)

* Completes other tasks as required

Three (3) years experience in Adobe Flash
At least 2 years experience applying instructional design to performance-based training, preferred
At least 2 years technical writing experience applying training methodologies
Strong interpersonal skills; highly approachable and professional at all times
Fundamental knowledge of instructional design and adult learning methodologies
Ability to assess training needs and develop appropriate participant and instructor materials, accordingly
Ability to consult with internal customers to help them manage their training development and delivery projects
Ability to manage multiple projects independently and efficiently
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees in an organization
Fundamental understanding of airline operations
Previous experience with an LMS and/or creation of eLearning content a plus
Well versed in Microsoft Office Products (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.)
Masters degree in relevant field preferred OR equivalent experience/training
