Job: Analyst, Treasury

Responsible for working with other analysts to complete transfers and transactions supporting the daily movement of cash between investment accounts and payment accounts.

Detailed Description
Prepares the daily cash flow forecast distributed to executive management
Assists with the timely sweep of excess funds from the station deposit accounts to US Airways investment account
Interacts with banking representatives to research and resolve banking problems and/or concerns
Monitors the various banking related fees; assists in efforts to reduce the fees
Initiates and/or reviews and verifies the accuracy of wire transfers of US Airways funds
Prepares the cash position report
Assists Treasury Manager with investing surplus cash in accordance with company’s investment policy
Initiates foreign currency exchanges
Prepares monthly accounting entries for investment income
Completes other projects as assigned

Undergraduate degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or related business field or the equivalent in related (cash management or disbursement) experience/training
Understanding of basic treasury functions, including, but not limited to, payment methods and account types
Experience with financial modeling
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office software (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint). OLAS, SCEPTRE experience preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management
Must be self-motivated and detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize work, and meet deadlines
Strong negotiation skills with ability to build and maintain effective relationships with external organizations
