Job: Drafter with Auto Cad

Allstaff Services Inc, is currently looking for a Civil Drafter to work at a large company here in Tucson. The position is a long-term contract with 10 paid holidays and 2 weeks vacation as well as yearly performance increases and bonuses.

This position would require the Mapper to use an electronic mapping/drafting system to design and provide layouts for construction and engineering teams. Will work in close connection with Engineering department and assist them with Civil design work.

General mapping or drafting experience required. Experience with AutoCAD 2007-2008 is a MUST & surveying is a plus. Assessment will be required during interview. Long term temp position !!!

Job Responsibilities:
Draft shells/base plans from plats & assessors maps.

Draft pipeline replacement designs for Engineering Team.
Create shells for final as-builts/record drawings.
Assist engineer with details &/or suggestions as required.
Provide peer review of drawings within Drafting Team.
Update/re-draft existing drawings for accuracy and current in-house drafting standards.
Provide Engineers with support documentation, to be used for construction.
Route paperwork to update internal mapping system when designs are completed.
Maintain and adhere to project schedule for assigned projects.
