America West Airlines, LLC dba US Airways seeks a Sr. Analyst, E-Commerce Strategic Analysis for its Tempe, Arizona location.
The Sr. Analyst, E-Commerce Strategic Analysis provides business analysis of e-commerce system design for customer lifecycle programs, including tracking return-on-investment, identification of customer macro/micro segments and migration between segments. Tracks and analyzes web-site performance, trends, click stream paths and online marketing initiatives to provide business intelligence and optimize investments. Based on quantitative analysis of GDS (Global Distribution System), optimizes business system processes and methodologies. Formulates recommendations for E-commerce programs and best practices based on quantitative analysis. Plans and analyzes marketing and revenue development initiatives, including usairways.com, e-mail and interactive marketing, e-Commerce and additional marketing programs. Utilizing web analytics software, including Webtrends, Omniture and Google Analytics, leads usairways.com interactive analytics, including the tracking of e-mail, online, and interactive marketing campaigns and promotional performance. Acts as business analyst for the implementation, design and management of web related databases and data sources. Performs E-commerce data mining and statistical analyses utilizing SQL and SAS/SPSS and presents reports to senior level management. Evaluates marketing tags, writes business requirements and assists developers to implement, test and deploy tags. Mines marketing and planning database, with emphasis on Dividend Miles, TCN, Omniture and other internal databases to evaluate customer activity, buying behavior, and trends. Coordinates marketing campaign performance analysis and reporting for inbound and outbound consumer marketing initiatives and promotions. Supports various departments with marketing campaign analysis to optimize campaign profitability. Oversees E-Commerce Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), including channel share, conversion rates, and online customer acquisition and retention. Develops automated reports, studies and strategies for marketing department programs. Recommends marketing initiatives based on applicable airline ticketing procedures and regulations. Bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Business, Business Administration, Statistics, Finance, Marketing, or Economics and five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered, as E-commerce and Web Marketing Specialist, Analyst or as Pricing Analyst.
Employer will accept five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in any job title listed or a total of five years progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in these job titles combined. For experience to substitute, must include two years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience: (1) utilizing SQL and SAS/SPSS to perform e-commerce data mining and statistical analysis; (2) utilizing web analytics software, such as Webtrends, Omniture and/or Google Analytics in a travel industry environment to analyze web-site performance and online marketing initiatives, and (3) quantitative analysis of GDS to optimize business system functionality.
